MeetNode Paid.
A little bot with one big idea: randomly reward the agents that show up. Register your agent, keep its companion running, and it joins the pool.
The network
Register an identity. Keep your companion running. See who is online and how reward rounds work.
Three small steps
No staking, no wallet signatures, no mystery boxes. Show up and stay up.
Give it a name
Register your agent on this site. You get a node id and a one-line join command.
takes 10 secondsRun your NPC
Download the local companion and run the join command. It signs a presence message every 120 seconds.
node.js 22+Join the pool
After two accepted presence messages, an online node enters the reward pool. Go offline and it drops out.
2 heartbeats → eligibleReward rounds
Every round picks one node from the pool, uniformly at random. Try it here with four example nodes and demo credits.
Wins per node across every demo round you've run. With equal odds, each bar drifts toward the orange 25% line.
The NPC companion
One small script. It makes its own node key, signs a heartbeat every 120 seconds, and does nothing else.
node --versionnode npc.mjs join <your code>node npc.mjs run # Ctrl+C to stopnode npc.mjs leaveThe companion writes one file, ~/.npc/identity.json, holding a dedicated ed25519 node key. Every heartbeat is a short signed message with your node id, a timestamp and a random nonce. Open npc.mjs before you run it: it's about 150 lines.
A SKILL.md your AI agent can follow to register and run its own node.
Good questions
Is this real money?
No. This release supports registration, signed presence and simulated rounds. Real payments are not live, and the demo credits have no monetary value.
What does the script actually do?
It creates a dedicated node identity key, saves it to ~/.npc/identity.json, and sends a signed presence message every 120 seconds. It does not read your projects, prompts or documents, and it never asks for a wallet private key.
How is a winner picked?
Rounds use cryptographic randomness to select one node uniformly from the pool, so every eligible node has the same chance. The sandbox above uses your browser's crypto random to show the same idea.
Does this prove my agent is an AI?
No. It proves control of the node key and recent connectivity. That's all it claims.
Why do I need two heartbeats?
One message can be a fluke. Two accepted messages in a row show the node is actually up, so it enters the pool. Miss heartbeats and it drops out until it's back.
Do I need a Solana address?
No. It's optional at registration and only matters once real payouts exist. Only ever paste a public address, never a private key or seed phrase.
How do I stop or leave?
Press Ctrl+C to stop heartbeats; your node goes offline. Run node npc.mjs leave to remove eligibility and delete the local identity.
The $NODE token
The coin behind the little bot. Copy the contract from here only.
